OUR FEEDS!
The South Fork American River is an ideal rafting trip for the first-timer. Lots of rapids will challenge even the veteran rafter. This river is very popular with student groups such as fraternity and sorority houses, campus clubs, dorms and other campus groups. The SoFo has one of the longest river rafting seasons in California with the most consistent whitewater rapids.
The infamous Tunnel Chute run on the Middle Fork American River is equally popular, but requires a more athletic user. Dam control offers consistent flows almost every day during the April through September season. In a deep isolated canyon, this river is a wilderness trip unmatched by other rivers. The MoFo whitewater is wet and wild!
The North Fork American River whitewater section is the most beautiful pristine playground of the American River. The Class 4 to 4+ rapids are technical and demanding. From start to finish, experienced paddlers will negotiate rapids such as Chamberlain Falls, Bogus Thunder and Staircase; difficult Class 4+ rapids for aggressive paddlers only. NoFo is whitewater paradise!
California rafting trips start in mid-March and the bulk of our season occurs from mid-March through September. You can do a one day, a two day, combo package or even a wilderness trip. We recommend these trips for any athletic college student! Gift certificates are also available for your student.

Note: spring rafting requires gear and W.E.T. River Trips provides wetsuits, splash jackets, helmets and of course, lifejackets. If you are camping with us, then tents are included, too! See our what-to-wear page for more details. California rafting is optimum during early spring. For athletic, high-water junkies, get your splash on by jumping on the North Fork in April when the river flows are at the Class 4+ levels. The NoFo is our favorite spring time run!
The North Fork American is an ideal trip to combine with the South Fork American in early spring. Run two rivers in two days for this exciting white water rafting package.
Note: early reservations are recommended due to the popularity of our college student discounts. Weekend dates such as Saturdays are the busiest time on the river. Go on a weekday and enjoy less crowded conditions on our rivers. During the Springtime, crowds are far less and the rivers are even better! Call us for river flow updates.
Gift Certificates are available for purchase! Apply the rafting gift certificate to the upcoming spring season. Graduation is coming up fast! Buy an adventure gift instead of that pen/pencil set!
