W.E.T. River Trips is an original, premier whitewater rafting company permitted to operate in California by several government agencies. W.E.T. is also an official California State Parks concessionaire in the Auburn Recreation Area on the Middle Fork. We are also permitted by El Dorado County as an original whitewater outfitter on the South Fork American. The Bureau of Land Management also oversees the land use on some of our rivers and we are permitted by that agency. Lastly, we are also regulated and permitted by the US Forest Service on roads and rivers that we navigate such as the Klamath and Cal Salmon.
Our company is in Sacramento, California, USA since 1978 and our base camp is located at Camp Lotus in the Lotus - Coloma Valley just northeast of Sacramento.
