The Klamath River is an excellent group rafting trip for youth groups, scouts and family rafting trips.
We limit each person's gear to 30 lbs each. Imagine a large plastic garbage bag. That's about the size of the dry bag that is issued to you. Limit your items and you will enjoy yourself even more. We suggest basic camping items such as sleeping bag, pad, ground cloth, tent and personal toiletry items. Check our what to bring rafting for wilderness trips. We also suggest preparing for summer rain storms. Ask about our Scout trips with merit badges on the 50-miler!
We start our Klamath trips in June and encourage this multiple day trip to prepare you for other types of wilderness trips on the river. Minimum age is 8 years old. See below for calendar.
