Located at the beautiful Camp Lotus. This large grassy group tent camping site with adjacent parking located along the American River is just a short walk from our South Fork meeting point. Enjoy sitting around the fire ring as you stare up at the stars and listen to the river running by. All campers have access to two separate bathroom and shower facilities with flush toilets and hot water.
Dome tents, BBQ grill with charcoal may be added for an additional cost. Want to leave all of the cooking gear behind? Ask us about our fully catered overnight trips that include lunch, dinner and breakfast

Camp Lotus has grassy, irrigated tent camping sites with adjacent parking, RV sites with full hook-ups and cozy cabins located along the South Fork of the American River. All camp sites have fire rings (with a fire grate) along with picnic tables. All campers have access to two separate bathroom and shower facilities with flush toilets and hot water.
**Tent camping (in the WET campsite located within Camp Lotus can be reserved with your whitewater rafting trip. See tent sizing above. Camping and tent rentals must be made in advance.
Cosumnes Cabin / 1-4 people 2 night minimum stay
Mokelumne Cabin / 1-5 people 2 night minimum stay
Middle and North Fork Rooms / 1-2 people per room 1 queen bed each
South Fork Room / 1-3 people per room 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed in a shared room
Yuba Cabin / 1-4 people 2 night minimum stay
Tipi / 2 night minimum stay
Coloma Resort provides nearly one mile of river front camping along the South Fork of the American River. Every tent camping and RV site is level and has its own picnic table, campfire ring and water/electricity hook-ups. There are also 5 different cabin types to choose from
Shuttles to and from the Coloma Resort can be arranged for your whitewater rafting trip.
Gold Rush Cabins / Maximum of 4 guests per cabin, Pets are NOT permitted
Boom Town Cabins / Maximum of 8 guests per cabin, No charge for up to two children under five years old in same Cabin, Pets are permitted. $10 per pet/per night
Family Bunkhouses / Maximum of 8 guests per Family Bunkhouse Room, No charge for up to two children under five years old in same Family Bunkhouse Room, Pets are permitted in specific cabins only. $25 per pet/per night in pet friendly cabins

Water flows in the South Fork American River result from releases from hydroelectric facilities located upstream. Such water releases are not subject to the control of El Dorado County or rafting companies operating under Permits from the County of El Dorado.
