Cancellation & Change Policy

Cancellation Policy:

This policy applies to full cancellations and reductions in guest count.

If you cancel your trip, or reduce your number of guests, within:

• 30 days or more – Full refund for the cancelled/reduced portion
• 29–15 days – Refund minus 10% cancellation fee, or full store credit, for the cancelled/reduced portion
• Less than 14 days – No credit / no refund for the cancelled/reduced portion
• No shows / late arrivals – No credit / no refund

Making changes to your reservation policy:

• 14 days or more notice: $25 fee (If we can accommodate)
• Less than 14 days notice: $25 per person fee (If we can accommodate)

*A maximum of 1 date or trip change is allowed per reservation. Any further change request is treated as a cancellation and falls under the cancellation policy above.

*If the new date or trip costs more than your original date you will be charged the difference.

*The cancellation policy is based on your original trip date. Changing your date or trip does not reset the cancellation window.

*All change fees are waived if WET River Trips moves your trip due to water levels, weather, or an insufficient number of participants. In that case you may choose an alternate date, full store credit, or a full refund.

*Increasing your guest count is subject to availability, whenever possible we will do our best to accommodate your request to add people to your reservation. However, there may be logistical reasons such as, additional guides, shuttle space, food or permit capacity that prevent us from doing so. We recommend that you make any additions to your reservation a minimum of 7 days in advance.

*Swapping a guest for someone else in your group is free with advance notice — just send us the new name.

Late arrivals policy:

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled meet time so that you have time to do the following: For South Fork trips you need to get a parking pass from Camp Lotus for your vehicle. For all trips please make sure to use the bathroom beforehand and be ready to go at the meet time.

We can hold your trip for 10 minutes past the scheduled meet time. “Arrival” means checked in at the meet location — not en route, and not parking. Guests who have not checked in within 10 minutes of the meet time forfeit their trip with no refund or credit.

If you are running late, call us immediately at 888-723-8938. We will do what we can, but we cannot guarantee your trip will be held.

The demand for these trips is high. Booking a trip only to cancel on short notice makes it difficult for others to fill that spot and limits the enjoyment of this scarce natural resources. We are required by regulatory agencies on our some of our rivers to report the trips we run far in advance, and not running those trips can result in substantial fines as access to these runs is limited in order to protect these scare natural resources, and your experience!

Not showing up the day of the trip means we incur additional cost. Much of the work that goes into making a run down the river an enjoyable experience occurs well before your meet your guides in the morning. Your guide has already been preparing for hours before your arrival and therefor in order to compensate them fairly for that hard work, we do charge for no-shows! 

We reserve the right to cancel or modify a trip due to insufficient reservations, water conditions, weather, or any other event beyond our control. There will be a full trip credit issued for any trip cancelled by WET River Trips. Our financial liability is limited to the amount paid to WET River Trips and shall not cover any other costs incurred by trip members including but not limited to travel and lodging costs.
