We were visiting from out of state with family who had previously traveled with a different company. Our companions were apprehensive to try Wet because they are more choosy with water conditions and guides, they are also a little pricier. Boy did we make the right call. When your adventure is in someone else’s hands, it’s worth it to check around and get what you pay for. The crew at Wet was super friendly, if you’re a good sport you’ll have a blast. Big bonus: our guide also added some local cultural moments for our history and scenic enthusiasts. These pictures were also incredible.

These guys were amazing! Starting with Kristie who booked our trip and was easy to communicate with her! Camping overnight at Lotus Campground was very pleasant surprise with clean showers and restrooms tent set up for us in the shade on the grass! The camp store had fresh coffee and homemade muffins! We had lunch on the river provided by the guides with fresh fruit and produce on the sandwiches!

Our guide was also our chief cooked us a private dinner that was over the top! Owner Chad came by to check on us and was very personable! The rafting was over the top exciting! The middle fork of American River with class 3 and 4 rapids left us breathless!

It was a truly amazing trip and weekend from start to finish!

I highly recommend this company. The other companies we saw on the river were huge groups. WET River is a small company that really gives their guests individualized attention. We didn’t feel rushed and we really felt like the trip was customized for our group. I can’t say enough good things about how great our experience was! These guys are the best in the business even as a small company. They have the best guides, all their equipment is great. The lunch they were prepared was amazing. The guide we had knew the river really well and was an all-around great fun guide. We can’t wait to come back next year!

I’ve rafted with them 3 times now and have been blown away by the team. Chris is a great guide with lots of personality and kept us laughing throughout the trip. The Middle Fork rapids can be intimidating but we always felt comfortable, even when on one of my 3 times we fell out of the boat at the end of Tunnel Chute.

The small company feel really makes a difference – I will absolutely go with WET again over any of the larger companies. The experience and personal touch goes a long way.

Those guys are the best for White Water Rafting in American River! They have a very professional crew and their guides are super knowledgable and they always make the right calls during the activity. Their price is good in comparison to other companies that offer the same service. If you want headache-free, positive service, and great experience, then choose those guys!

WET puts so much pride in their customer service and quality. From communication in planning to amazing prepped food to an incredible journey down the river, WET was fantastic. I was in charge of a 16-person bachelor party and to say the least, all my friends were raving about this experience. WET and the staff made planning this so easy.  Can’t wait for another journey down the river!

WET River Trips – Excellent company, total Pros

These guys are Excellent! What an awesome experience! The WET staff are total pros – very experienced and it shows. We rafted the Middle Fork of the American River our guide was so cool and confident that we felt right from the start we were in for a great day, and this trip exceeded all of our expectations. After an action-filled day of rafting, we opted for the catered dinner add-on to our package. So our guide came back to the campground with us that evening and served up alfresco appetizers with sangria and then a delicious steak dinner with fresh veggies. To have a catered meal served at your campsite after a long day of rafting – INCREDIBLE, I highly recommend doing this – worth every penny. And our guide even brought the food right to our campsite – SO very cool.  Camp Lotus itself is an awesome little campground. The owners do a great job really caring for this space – it’s well-run, well-tended, sitting right on the river. Just a peaceful little river gem. All around GREAT weekend, we’re already looking forward to our next trip with WET!

Best rafting outfit in this area! Fun trip for all ages!

We loved this trip and WET River Trips made it a wonderful experience for all of us! The guides are fantastic – they are knowledgeable, highly safety conscious, fun, and experienced. The company is smaller than others and as such is able to provide a more family-like feeling that we love. We have gone on other rafting trips in this area and WET was the best we’ve seen. They also made a special accommodation when we asked for it at the last minute and showed us outstanding customer service. Also, this is a great way to see the areas where the 49er’s gold miners came to prospect for gold back in the 1840s.

I have rafted the American River many times with a handful of different companies and W.E.T. has so far been my favorite. They have the best price and customer service as well.
